My first astrophoto…

I enjoyed viewing the lunar eclipse from Sydney yesterday. On a whim, I pulled out my iPhone, held it next to the ep and took a photo. A bit surprised at how good the result was…what do you think?

Is this the start of slippery slope to the bank-balance reducing world of astro-photography ?

Equipment
Saxon ED120
Baader Mk4 Zoom
iPhone 13 hand-held over the eyepiece
No tracking, no stacking, no processing whatsover!

Nice job on a great pic!
I feel like astrophotography should come with some kind of warning to beginners- kind of like cigarette packets and gambling ads:

WARNING - ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY MAY RESULT IN POVERTY / OBSESSION OVER CLOUDS / CAUSE ENDLESS HOURS TINKERING WITH TINY SPACERS & ADAPTORS.

You’ve been warned- now welcome down the glorious rabbit hole!!
