Some images from this morning through thin high cloud.
The long filament is the dominant feature.
Interesting to see how long it lasts.

Nice going Richard. Its a really interesting disk. Some of these big filaments have defied the odds & made it all the way to the limb so, as you say, it will be interesting to see how this one goes.

I have a hunch that this solar cycle is going to be a very active one. I think we have lots to look forward to.
