Saturn 27th Aug

Saturn presented under better than average conditions Saturday evening here in Melb- finally (seeing 8 trans 8 according to SkippySky).
This shot was taken with SV305 using my 10"Newt around midnight as Saturn approached its transit.
Best 9% from 5min SER(approx 90fps) using Sharpcap,AS!3,Registax and PS.

Cheers all,
Anthony

Thanks fellas,
Yeh it’s a bit of a waiting game trying to get the perfect window of opportunity-luck plays a part also with seeing conditions.
I find planetary imaging relaxing because like fishing, you can enjoy the peace and quite waiting for that moment when it strikes.
Above 60 degrees elevation is when it all happens.

Hope to see more posted soon- Jupiter will be climbing higher soon…

Anthony.
