Finally clear skies - NGC 6188

Haven't had much luck down in Melbourne with the weather of late so I took the opportunity when it arose.

Got 40x 300sec subs on the GSO - 550 f.4 connected to the ASI294mc and recently installed home made pier

If you haven't got a pier do yourself a favour.

Thanks to a good mate for the processing tips and tricks in pixinsight !

A really nice result there. You’ve revealed heaps of detail without pushing the processing too far so comes across very natural. Beautiful!

I went through the same dilemma Rene.. collimation and processing were the biggest hurdles for me. Finally got my stars looking ok
