Wide Chicken

IC2944 wide field.
A mosaic of six panels captured with a W/O ZS 81 (6Aiii Reducer/Flattener).
ZWO533 MC PRO. Guiding via a W/O 50mm Guide Scope and a ZWO120 Mini.
ASIAIR Plus.
120 second subs - 15 per panel. Would have liked more data, but you get what you get and you don't complain as my Dad used to say.
(Oh, I have a 3D printed Spike mask on as well).

Very well done Hugh.

Mosaics can be difficult to get right and I can't see any seams.

There is plenty of detail and contrast with nice highlights.

Thumbs up to you mate

It came out really well
Mosaics are an issue for me in terms of consecutive clear nights and time to get them done.

Really nice, Hugh! You've got some hot pixels floating about though? Lots of red and blue pixels floating about (that aren't stars). What calibration frames did you use?

Only Darks this time. No flats, flat darks or bias.

I know, I need to start being more diligent with calibration frames.

I have tried the Hot Pixel removal function in DSS, but I've noticed you also lose detail.

Cheers,

Hugh
