Spiral Flame in HOO Bi Colour

A part of the Vela SNR in HOO Bi colour. Approx 5 hours each of Ha and OIII in 10 minute subs over 4 nights. Taken with SGP running an ASI1600MM Pro camera and a Stellarvue SVR102T-IS scope. Processed with PI.

Love it. Very clever framing and a resulting pleasing colour variety.

The new scope seems to be a winner.

Greg.

Thanks Greg, very happy with the result, but this is an old scope I bought back in 2015!! Still my favourite imaging scope as so easy to use. Main benefit of it for this image is the rotateable focuser that allows for custom framing (with a bit of patience.

Well done Malcolm on a lovely Image
I agree with Greg on the framing - It really makes the image and I get a definite bird-in-flight vibe from it.

Best
