nice work Averton looks like you've been having a lot of fun with the Lunt.

i've just joined the solar photographers club with a new quark filter arriving today. hoping to have it up and running for first light Saturday conditions look good for melbourne.

Hi Russell,

Yes we are having a ball with our small Lunt. We have only had it since the beginning of the year and its had more use than all our other scopes.

Saturday does look good, so hope you get a good first light with the Quark. Looking forward to seeing your images.
Are you an ASV member? If you are, do you know about the Solar Section? They have a Facebook page just for solar.

That’s great it certainly looks like a fun scope.
I’m not a member of asv (mornington peninsula astro society instead), but might look into it too. Cheers
