Wow, amazing what satellite technology picks up these days.

Definitely a bug! That'll keep the coding geeks busy for awhile.

Cheers,

classic! thanks for that RB

I see there is a whole industry of finding interesting googlemaps images out there!
slashdot has a killer thread on this one -
with some wags comin up with some great quips
favourite so far 'Germany welcomes their new insect overlords'

apparently google says the thrip (I thought they were earwigs?) was squashed between the glass when they scanned the image hmmmmm as some Ct's say, ..its a cover up for an actual invasion?

warning!! some coarse language:
http://slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/09/28/1517229

here's another interesting google map someone found

http://maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&...06743&t=h&om=1

leaning towers!

It would seem that Koolewong has been shifted a kilometre or so to the north.http://www.comcen.com.au/~gladesign/images/Koolewong.jpg
I should give credit where it is due, they got it correct in their maps.

What a classic I love it. Beware the giant Earwiggle roaming the fields, eating the crops and terrifying the locals

cheers
