Lagoon Nebula in Ha/OSC

Hi all,

this is the last of my images from my dark-sky trip in May.
It's a blend of Ha and normal unfiltered OSC with 20 x 300s exposures for each. I used my Skywatcher MN190 and ZWO ASI2600MC and the Ha was taken using an Astronomik 12nm 2" filter.

The Lagoon cleared the tree-line at the observing site rather late back in May so this was imaged over three nights. As I did the Ha on a separate night (and failed to mark the earlier camera position) the framing of the HA wasn't ideal (meaning I had to crop this more than I wanted). I'm quite happy with the detail I've been able to bring out.

High-res version here: Astrobin Lagoon

Nice Pete, Looks like you nailed the colours.
I still think it looks like Homer , a more appropriate name than Lagoon.

Thanks George - perhaps someone should do a rendition in 'Homer-yellow'?
