Too breezy last night which didn't help with guiding. Focus looks a bit soft.
Subject: M20 Trifid Nebula;
Camera: Canon 350D unmodified;
Scope: 8" LXD-75 Schmidt Newtonian with MPCC Coma Corrector and Baader UHC-S;
Exposure: 10 x 4 mins ISO 1600; 6xAveraged Darks applied;
Mount: LXD-75 guided with MaxDSLR and Mintron video camera;
Guidescope: 80mm Orion 80ED;
Processing: Aligned and master darked in MaxDSLR. Photoshop curves, despeckle and unsharp mask.
With the mount waving around slightly in all directions in the breeze it's hard to say how much of the fuzziness was due to the breeze and how much of it was due to actual focus.
