Mars Loop 22/10/2020

Here's a bit over an hour of Mars RGB animation with no funky colors and legit clouds.

Wow Marc, I just cannot get over the image scale you are achieving yet still retaining the nice details of the surface features.

Should I sell my M210 and get a CN212...

Cheers

That is mighty impressive. Very smooth motion and great detail at the same time.

Thanks Dennis. The CN-212 and the Mewlon 210 are the same. The CN-212 is probably a little better corrected off-axis but that's about it. Wouldn't matter for planetary at all.

Thanks. I scheduled 90s captures with 2s intervals non stop so there's about 50 frames ~8s of loop, that's why it's smooth. The GIF playback is set at 10fps and there's very little rotation between frames. I wanted to see if the clouds move with the planet surface or were just limb artefacts and they seem to move from the left to the right. There are hints of thin clouds in the middle as well.
