scorpius.
plating with yet more settings on the little nikon i won i decided to set it to night scene and point it at the sky on a tripod....
you can make out some DSOs in some spots!!!

Nice one ving. Even with just a quick glance I can see M4, 6, 7, 8 and M20.
What are your exposure details?
