NGC104 - whiling away the hours on a moonlit night

NGC104 - whiling away the hours on a moonlit night while i was waiting unsuccessfully to image comet Swan F8 2020 i thought why not. well it was far too moonlit to really be any good, but nonetheless its one i managed to capture.

Good work. Beautifully shows the almost unique "signature" central condensation of 47 Tucanae, and you got the colour right!

thanks, i really wished i could get an even field most of the time. i really think that these RASA scopes suffer immensly with such a sharp focal plane. you really need steady temperatures to get the best results

Good catch David. It’s always good fun to run off these images at short notice. They can produce surprisingly good results.
