Congrats to Rocket Boy for taking out the August challenge! Back to back wins, that's a first!

Well done Andrew, another deserving win.

Shoutout to Anne-Louie and Sharnbrook who also had very good entries.

Andrew, you get to choose again! What will it be for September?

Everyone, I am most honoured.
Thank you to all once again who participated.
I must say there were some great entries again this month.
Sharnbrook, a very creative take on the theme.
Earthlight, a fantastic photo indeed.
Petra, I thought your rose was beautifully portrayed in that shot.
And all the others too, well done.

I would like to say that in light of the recent event of the untimely death of one of Australia’s great ambassadors to the world, Steve Irwin, I would like to dedicate the September Photo Challenge to his memory.

The theme will be: "The Animal Kingdom - All creatures Great and Small"

It will be left up to you to photograph what ever animal/creature you choose.

Cheers everyone.

Congratulations RB, and thanks for your very generous comments. However, with a total of 3 titles, and 2 in a row, it's time for the rest of us to take our gloves off, and give it all we've got. Isn't that right Dennis, Ving, Earthlight, hOughy, Asimov, 33South, Space Zebra etc etc etc..........?

Good Luck to you all,

Regards,

Mike

Congratulations Rocket Boy, great photo and marvellous composition. Very clever!

I would also like to thank everyone for voting for me I really didn’t think I’d be in the running with all the great photos entered, (hoped of course to get in the top 5
).
