I guess If you read between the lines so to speak, any manufacturing errors in mass producing for a good price a 10m plus chip, are erased by software..
If you cant fix it hide it LOL..

I thought it implied both. It has a system to remove dust from the sensor (presumably similar to the Olympus ultra sound vibration on power up) but if theat doesn't get it off and it detects a persistent dust bunny, the software compensates...

My interpretation...

Roger, Mike, 33 South,

I whole heartly agree, thats why I picked up my Canon EOS 5D today,
(12+ Meg Pixels), and a EF 135mm F/2.0L Lens, plus Canon EF 1.4 Extender.

Cheers leon

You lucky dog, Leon!

The 5D is a very far away dream for me, but something i'd definitely love to have.

Can't wait to see what you produce with it!

I wonder how long it will be before DSLR manufacturers abandon the 2/3 format and go to full frame in their budget models. I discussed this with a mate, he feels the current budget format will endure, I believe it will fade away and be replaced with full frame (under $2K version of the 5D) at some time in the very near future.
