David,

I wanted to keep it, badly. That, or the lens. Either/or.

Cheers for the compliment.

Humayun

Nice star field image Humayun.

The Dark Nebulae certainly mysteriously winds it way through the stars

So that's what all the test shots were for.
Good result!

Ken,

Thanks for the compliment.

It is such a bizarre object. It's interesting to note how the most colourful objects have so much going on.

Regards,
Humayun

Gary,

Thanks for the kind words.

It's quickly becoming a favourite for me, too. At first I thought it was a little too bland to image. Now, I know I was wrong.

Look forward to your attempt.

Regards,
Humayun

Ed,

I didn't include the test shots in this composite. I thought that it may introduce artifacts as the test shots were framed all over the place.

Thanks!

Regards,
Humayun

Wow, thats the best widefield Corona Australis Ive seen, the darkness of the inner cloud mingled with the brown of its edges running across the image. Well done.
