Jupiter and Ganymede, 15th March

Hi Guys, thought you might be interested in this...

While imaging Jupiter earlier this week I found a patch of good seeing that captured Ganymede as well...

Usual details... 10" f/6 mirror (made in Sydney by Mark Suchting), 4x TV powermate, 25fps fire-i mono camera and Astronomik RGB filters.

Stacked about 300/750 frames in each colour.

regards, Bird

So nice to capture detail on Ganymede.. you are the master mr wesley.

btw I met someone at the SPSP from the Canberra Astronomical Society.. he said he knew of you when I mentioned your name.. I can't remember his name, he had a homemade 16" dob.

Certainly your finest Anthony. Love the detail in Ganymede. The detail in the eq belts is absolutely amazing. Keep em coming.

BTW, Anthony can you send a shot of your rig in the "send in your rig" thread in the equipment section.
