So in the interests of preserving my marriage, I am thinking, 3 or so nights at Bretti next week, from Wednesday 23 August.?
BUT ... Seeking like minded companions!

yeah, Geoff, I have to agree - latest forecast is a bit disappointing.
possible cloud and chance of periodic drizzle
a few likely starters have indicated warmer weather would be preferred.
I saw today a prediction of Snow for the Barringtons.
So, maybe next month.

You wont believe this Alan, but I broke a piece off one of my back teeth with an Olive seed.
I also need to go to the dentist next week now.
What a bummer. This tooth has been a lot of trouble over the years and I would love to get rid of it.

Maybe next week is out for me now.

Another problem I have which means a No Go for me, is that my van has put itself into a LIMP MODE. It has a problem with the exhaust gas re-circulation system or some rubbish. Which will be about $1300.00 for the replacement of a valve I am told.
It is booked in for Wednesday and it may be there for Thursday as well.
Most of my jobs were pushed back due to this issue.
The dentist bill will also be something I don't need at present.
Sorry Folks.
I just cannot win at present.

wife has a broken bone in her foot - who knows what will come along with doctors etc

No thanks Geoff, I can borrow Karen's car for work stuff if I need to.

I can still drive it in LIMP mode but it has no power and does not like hills at all....Back to 1st gear on hills.

I dont get to watch much TV, we may watch a series for a while sometimes.
So I missed and add about teeth or whatever it was.

However, after making the effort to fit in with Geoff's timetable, well, I am still packing for this trip.
Tuesday arvo until Friday.
School holidays commence Friday 22, so I reckon I'll be out of there by lunchtime Friday.
