I had a Maltese many years ago. He sure was a clever little mut, loved the cat to death as well. He would have a go at anything regardless of size if the need arose. He once had a go at a bulldog (that mauled our Dalmation) and got away unscathed, mind you he raced in between the bulldogs legs, nipped him, out between the back legs and raced back and leapt up into my arms......
