Hi Steve,
that's fantastic.
There seems to be a lot of info in the blue channel.
It makes me want to re-process mine but the data is just not as sharp
nor the guiding so good.

Ah huh!!..ok then, that's a good keyhole now Steve, the first was too flat, shadow highlighty. Sheesh!..you must'ave done quuuuite a few keyholes over the year now??

That's brilliant Steve! The Finger is always what I go for when looking at Keyhole resolution, your finger is very nice

Thanks Mike. Actually Eta is not something I image very often and when I do something right with processing an image I often forget what I did the next time. Just naturally disorganized I guess.

Thanks Alan. Yes, there's a lot of OIII in this thing. Many images of it are too red so you need a bit of blue.

I'll remember that.
It's very hard to compete with a 14.5" RCOS on a top mount.
Is yours the version with ion milling?
You have beautiful round stars from perfect guiding.
By the way - what did you measure as your average FWHM?

I use the AO-X too. On a good night I'll get about 1.5 - 2" but sometimes my star shapes aren't perfect. I currently have a slight elongation in the top left corner on some frames. I suspect my collimation needs to be tweaked. Purchasing Martin Pugh's old Paramount ME helped me a lot but it wasn't cheap. You can spend a lot of money in this business.

I like this one too. The other one looked a little odd. I reckon you should do a few short subs to capture the homunculus too. It's worth doing and not hard to capture. I think I did something like 0.7 of second or thereabouts from memory.
