For those of you that are worried about RCOS closing its doors and what if something goes wrong?, then please note that Deep Sky Instruments has acquired all intellectual property assets, design files and trade secrets to carry on the extensive line of RC Optical Systems products and services (TCC and TIM excepted). Also. Right Ascension LLC continues to produce the TCC and TIM controllers and provide some services for legacy products. So there is hope!

RCOS 12/5" F9 CF Tube Scope with Astro Sitall Mirrors, RCOS Precision Instrument Rotator with RCOS 70mm Field Flattener, TCC1 controller with Handbox, cables, Finder and hard case. Other items shown in photos are also included. This scope has not had much use so the optics on this scope are truly pristine in immaculate condition.
Paul Jones Optical certificate as supplied. Sell for $12500 + Share shipping Cost.

AP1200 mount is now SOLD!

Tak FSQ-106 Scope with standard accessories and Robofocus for $5650 + share shipping cost.

I would be interested in the Astro physics handset if you ever consider selling it separate. Cheers

I have a second hand Mach 1 GTO which does not come with a handset. While I do mostly imaging and just use a computer via ASCOM, I thought having a handset would be a good back up for the odd visual session when I don't want to lug around my laptop. If the price is right that is.

So if I sell you my handset, then what chance do I have of selling my mount?
Not going to happen is it?

The astrophysics mounts are all sold without handsets, as the handsets are not required for imaging. The handsets are optional extra. As a case in point I bought a used Mach 1 GTO without a handset and have been using it happily without a handset. A handset costs 1000 USD new and I thought it is an unnecessary expenditure for something that that is not strictly required (a nice to have, not must have), hence my looking at the second hand market. In fact, I understand paramount mounts do not even have handsets.

Anyway I can perfectly understand your wish not to sell separate, and I do wish you find a buyer for your very nice equipments
