Well done Mike. It was an inspirational idea. Apart from thanking everyone on this family for making Iceinspace.com such a roaring success I'd like to thank your wife and family for the understanding and acceptance of your need to do this. I don't know your wife and childrens names Mike but thank them for us.

Congratulations Mike, other workers and forum members
You are a great team and newbies like me are fortunate to have a site like this to learn in a supportive environment of fun and safety.
I've never spent so much time on the internet before and I look forward each day to check the site out
Keep up the good work

It's quote's like that ^^ , that make it all worthwhile. And quotes like that are all I'd need for an advertising campaign

Thanks

Well done to Mike and everyone for what has been and will be a good time spent on the computer.

But remember looking into the night sky is what it is all about.

All.

We certainly did need a local forum and we've got one in spades!!! Iceinspace beats the socks off yahoo and all the rest on just about every level! Astronomy, by its nature, can be a bit of a solitary pursuit, but this opens up doorways to new experiences and friendships. Now... when's that Newcastle star party kicking off???

Thanks Mike and the team for doing a thoroughly brilliant job! I'm looking forward to a long and happy association with you all!

All I need now is for my new scope to arrive... (sheds a bitter tear)

My wife says I'm addicted to this forum, and I reply that I resemble that accusation!!!

Big thanks to Mike for hosting this little (although growing by the day!) sware, and thanks to everyone that contributes - including Striker who manages to put a smile on my dial on the odd occasion.

I have learnt from others, "stolen" some great ideas, hopefully passed on some knowledge, and managed to make some more local (and not so local) astro contacts.

Thanks again!!!
