Lightning from Friday night storms in Brisbane

Right place right time with my tripod.

It was a lightning fest last night. Caught close to 30 excellent bolts.

All 8 sec exposures, ISO 100 at f5 on my Canon 600d at 20mm (or there abouts). Took close to 300 shots for these, but hey the joys of digital!

Hey just letting you know I have done another Ha panel of the Rosette mosaic. Starting to look good...

Beauty going there Scott, Gotta love some high active amperage huh ! Done very well with your exposure settings too, , nothing over-blown and lots of tendrils

Thanks Bob. Some of the shots I caught with the lightning out of shot were completely white due to the brightness of the bolts. There were some HHUUUUUGE bolts that night. Thor must've been cranky!
