Comet Panstarrs and Crescent Moon, Byron Bay

I didn't even know this was coming until someone mentioned it on Facebook and bam.. there she is! What a beauty!

Thanks guys! Not quite Kevin's amazing shot but I'm pretty happy for a DSLR with no tracking. Here's a 35 exposure stack as well for good measure.

That's great!

And it's not an easy shot to get. The stars, the Moon and the comet all move at different rates and directions to each other! Plus the Moon is so bright it flares all over the place. I think you have captured it very well.
