FIRE SALE - Hard-Cases going cheap.

Hi all, I have a number of good size Hard-Cases left from a past client order. Need to get rid of them.
I thought I'd give this forum 1st opportunity.
These cases are very strong, water-proof & air-tight. I have previously provided several cases as raffle prizes at Qld Astrofest so you may have seen (or even have) one of my cases.
The large cases have a pull-out handle & wheels. So no need to carry it. (this is great for my AZ-EQ6)

I have 2 sizes available.
The large is good for EQ mounts & OTA's. For size comparison, you can see in the attached photo, my AZ-EQ6 in one of the large cases.
The large cases would also be good for 2 or 3 OTA's up to about 180mm dia.
Case dimensions -
External 765mm x 503mm x 260mm
Internal 670mm x 410mm x 215mm

The smaller cases would be ideal for a small collection of EP's. As an example, you could comfortably fit 3 x Ethos EP's laying side by side, or 6 to eight small EP's standing vertically.

Only come in black... Sorry... That's all I have left.

Pick up from my place in Brisbane
Large cases - $185ea
Small Cases - $30ea

Delivery can be arranged if required.
If you have any interest, please give Irene a call for info & delivery arrangements.. 0415 627 013

Cheers, Bryan

Hi Bryan,

I'm interested in the large case. Is the dimension similar to the Pelican 1650?

Thanks,
Arief

Hi Bryan,

What are the dimensions (internally) of the large hard cases? I have a Meade LX200 8" ACF I would like to house in a case.

Cheers,

Matt

Matt,
The internal depth is 215mm. 8" is 203mm. So basically you'd have 6mm of compressed protective foam on top & bottom of the OTA.

This would definately protect the OTA, but would not protect it from heavy compression - say if you layed the case flat & jumped on it.

Cheers, Bryan

Hi Brian,
Darn! I thought it might work, but I also have a dovetail mount on the scope. So not an option for me. Need full protection in all reasonable circumstances. Afraid I have to leave it.
Regards,
Matt
