I took it at 5AM this morning - a stack of 30 five-second exposures from a Canon 70D with a Tamron wide-angle lens.

How many organisms are looking back at us from among those stars? Perhaps many, perhaps none.

A very nice result with such short integration time!

Apparently, with current technology, it would take us about 80 years to detect life on Earth, if we were watching from 10 light years away: https://www2.physics.ox.ac.uk/blog/a...-life-on-earth

We are still blind, and I need a bigger scope! ;-)
