Managed to squeeze in a couple of Jupiters last night between haze and clouds. I think the early one caught the better of the seeing.
Also learnt to not be afraid of pushing the gain up much higher than I normally would, I got much better results that way despite the noise but that is a trade off for keeping my fps up I guess.
I'm always cursing the seeing here but when it comes good it's not too bad.
Lately we have been under a lot of Saharan dust, I wonder if that does any sort of useful filtering.
