Antares nebulosity, plus repro.

I love using ISO 6400!

This is only 50 minutes of data, the dust/nebulosity has come up easily.

good fun!

8” F/4 astrograph , baader type 3 coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D plus cooler box. 25 subs x 2 minutes at ISO 6400. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop Cs2..

Iv'e added a repro with a not so prominent Antares.

Cheers,

Justin.

Looks like a screen shot of a guide star window

Good little scope you have there and Antares looks great too.

Looks good Justin. I should give the background neb a go sometime, probably in winder when my camera isn't so noisy.

A good target for layer processing to keep Antares under control.

Thanks Mike!

Yep I was thinking the same about the guide star window.
I must say my setup is basic and performed well over the past 3 years.

Thanks Kevin!

Look forward to your image.
I must do a mosaic of this area.

Added a repro with a less prominent Antares, don't want to reduce it much further, just looks wrong.

Nice shot Justin.

I like the dust you've brought out.
