Barry Adcock APO refractor 150mm price drop

HI All,

I have had an opportunity to buy my dream scope so I have to sell my existing scope. Its a barry adcock 150mm f11 fluorite doublet refactor, 1700 mm focal length and has been my imaging scope at my remote site for some time. Optics are stunning.

I have an Raytheon optical report for this scope, and it is colour free.

Some images from the scope: http://www.billionsandbillions.com/ngc_55.html

I have installed a motorised feathertouch focuser which comes with the scope. This can also be used manually.

There are some paint marks on the tube from the machine work required to fit the feathertouch. This scope is a piece of australian history as well as a stunning performer.

Pics coming up soon. Asking enquiries at approx. $3500 including the feathertouch.

NOW $2800

Yep I have and its all good.

One thing that I found that was really surpassing with the scope is that the field curvature is almost non existent.

I have taken some shots with a full frame sensor (canon 5D2) and there was no field curvature present at all. So no flattener required. That also really nice for wide FOV eyepieces, as its sharp all the way to the edge.

Damn, that looks nice. What did you have hanging off it to get that shot.
That was without a flattener??
