Jupiter Io and Europa May 6

My best yet Jupiter... with Io and Europa as well.

Captured May 6 at 22:00EST. C8 at f20 (2x barlow). Stacked in registax, Unsharp Mask and crop in PS CS2.

The dark blob on the lower equatorial belt is a dust spot on the CCD... one of the few times tracking has been good enough to keep it in the same spot .

Yes, I do hate the dust bunnies!

One of these days when I master the basics of astrophotography enough I'll have to learn how to do flats! At the moment I think it's a complication I can manage without...

Thanks Asi!

Thanks Guys!

I did try to think of a smarty comment about the dust bunny, but figured fessing up was probably better... the shadow just looked a bit big for Ganemede to me... maybe 3 of them were in line? Maybe it was a Vogon Constructor fleet???
