Grus Quartet -1

This was effectively first light with my RC8. Seeing was as bad as I've seen it, so given that I'm pretty happy with the result. Funny thing is, seeing was pretty good last night and I tried to redo it but I got worse results--go figure!

Looks awesome Lee! Wouldn't know seeing was bad going by that. Great result.

Looks pretty good, Lee, especially for a first light. A nice level of detail.

Nice going Lee, really good depth for a first light and bad seeing.

Very nice! Good level of detail even with the slightly fuzzy stars from the seeing.

Thanks Andy :-)

The fuzzy stars are probably at least in part my doing as I tend to use the morphological transformation tool in PixInsight to dull them down a bit as they tend to be a bit overpowering to my eyes... maybe I overdid that :-)

Edit: I never ended up getting RGB as I broke my OAG into at least 5 different pieces. Waiting on a new one from Germany now...
