R Coronae Australis region 1.5hrs

1.5hrs with my QHY8 pro.

Trying to get the hang of PixInsight. This is my second image processed so far

Last weeks attempted on R Coronae Australis region was ruined by dew on the secondary.

Good work for your second image with PI! A little green tinge to some of the dusty areas? Might benefit from a light touch with SCNR.

Cheers,
Rick.

Yes, I'm enjoying PI. It's a big improvement on Nebulosity 3.

I'm rather impressed with my OSC. The QHY are good value. They do rather well given enough photons. Sometimes I think they are underrated. However its only a matter of time until I move on up to mono and narrow band.

The QHY8 pro and a $700 GSO 10inch f4 are a good combination to learn on.

What a gorgeous field, well rendered... I love that galaxy on the right border, just a drop of HLVG needed?
