NGC7331 & Stephan's Quintet: preview of a long term job!

Back here to share the first step of an image that I will continue to integrate, is the first approach to this beautiful field in Pegaso with tiny galaxies on background, in addition to the notes of the title, enhanced by IFN powders that I cannot bring out because the sky was not the best and I was in my backyard, but hope to be able to integrate from mountain skies soon

The image is a light crop due to a bit of field rotation (I didn't aligned the finder guide so great was the rush!) and a small sensor shift which is evident even in flat frame, unfortunately the clamping system of the original chinese fok based on two screws at 90 ° decentralizes the "nose" of the reflex.
Only 16x12' 800iso with idas filter D1, but as a start I'm satisfied with the performance of the FR APccdt67 at about 73mm from the chip, fast down to f/5.6

As always, comments and criticisms are welcome, even if it's just a preview

Clear skies,
Elio

Nice framing Elio … luv it …
The higher-res picture on Astrobin shows small-signal noise on the colour layer. If you use PixInsight you may try ATrousWaveletTransform with NoisReduction and modest values for layers 1,2 & 3.

I'd be happy with that as a final image.

Thanks Ian, I'll try it soon
The image needs integration anyway...

It's a good start for me indeed, but I have to bring out the dusty IFN before stopping
Thanks!

Feel like the poor soul who read "abandon hope all ye who enter here"
I hope in the fullness of time to be able to produce something akin to that before I expire.

Fantastic! Look forward to the final image.

Glad to see someone else use IRIS. I used to use it for all my DSLR work. It's an amazing piece of software.

Ooops, missed this one Elio, look at those cool contrasting galaxies...lovely image and I like the blue bias too, often looks good with galaxy fields.

Thanks to all for kindly words, I love this field so much I continue collecting subs trying to take the best from dslr and my sky

Proud you like framing, it seems that 7331 and Quintet contend the scene, I do not know which attracts me more

Now you can see 10 hours update, integration improves details and background cleanly, the challenge is 30 hours and pull out the IFN

As ever, your comments and critis are...

I'm playing with pixinsight too, but flat calibration is worse, preprocessing in Iris still the best, though I loose 1 bit
