Narrow fields from Astrofest

Taken with a W.O. FLT110 and Moravian 8300 using Astronomik Filters


Ngc 5139 20 x 5min RGB

The Tower 20 x 5min RGB + 30 x 5min Lum

Processed in Pixinsight.

The highres are truly superb. The colors in the dark tower field are awesome. Well done.

Thanks Rick, still on L plates with Pixinsight but sometimes you get lucky. Does help with data from a dark site.

Two great caprtures there Geoff, composing an image with data collected at a star party is quite rewarding huh? I haven't done it since 2005

Like a few others I do hope to get to one eventually....but with an observatory...probably will be scopeless again ...maybe I comandeer a small portable outfit from Houghy, he wouldn't miss one...aaaaaahhh
