Hi Alex, good to hear you are on the mend.

That beard of yours is looking a classic in that selfie, I've definitely got a few years of growth to catch up.

I got a mate who has been sailing a 23ft yacht around the world for the last 5 years. He's back in town to sell his house and property behind us and then he's off again sailing. The stories he has been telling us are amazing. I can see why you want to do it.

Cheers

Little disappointed that I need a walker it is up on wheel chair bound but it is a battle
The pain is causing horrible dreams where I can not escape the delirium
Can't make it outside
Just wanted to get under stars if only for a moment
It's great to get it off my chest simply by typing here
It matters not if anyone reads it either .. Thanks Ice in Space This place is wonderful medicine

And not homeless, nor a drunk! Glad to see the smiles, Alex -- the picture says a thousand words, if not more.

good to see you up and about, even if with a walker, a little every day - or should it be a little more every day.
keep getting well, and keep getting out to see the stars.

Thank you my friend
I think the yacht may have to go but I hope to get there and be the oldest to circumnavigate the world.
Probably won't happen but getting to a goal is what counts finally doing it is the small part
Preparation for such will drive me to get around this even if I have to go back I won't give in

I'm betting that you'll beat that ..... by 10 years. And that will be about your third trip. Go for it!

BTW I had a look at Tambulam on google maps. Certainly looks astro friendly. Now, if there were jobs for instrument techs ....

Thank you very much David.
I hope your confidence is proved right.
My place is in the mountains 30 come South of town and an excellent dark sure.
I have a few neighbours some hippy girls and we all only use 12 vlt lighting. To the South there is 100 klm before the lights of Grafton.
So yes it is great for astro.
Thanks again for your encouragementl
