sucker hole

it was fine by the time I got home ..set up the scope star aligned..seeing terrible..tried Clown Face nebula, could see nothing...Crab nebula nothing , Sculptor Galaxy lost in light haze..

decided to wait it out and drift align in the meantime..

just finished a perfect drift alignment using a webcam and K3ccd and ..looked up and

Same here. Lovely night, went to set up and big blobs of cloud coming in.

Thunderstorms tomorrow too!!!!

same... spent 1/2hour playing in the fading light till I was forced inside by the clouds. thought i was in for a nights viewing.
I blame ken (dont know why yet tho )
