Cool Moon Ring

Putting the dog out and looked up to see this...quite an awesome site in real life, it's 44deg diameter looked massive over the house and my lens only just fitted it all in

Saw the same thing from Sydney tonight after we finished training - looked absolutely amazing (and no way would it fit in my smart phones field of view). Great you captured it so well!

From North Ryde the clouds looked just like the funnel in the "Day after Tomorrow" where the super cooled air rushes down and snap freezes everyone who doesn't follow the hero's advice!

Nice one, looks like Mars in the halo, we had some lunar rings a week back & Mars was just outside the bow.
