A few bird shots from recent holiday

Was up in Daintree again recently on my honeymoon this time
but managed a few trips out on a little boat with a friend who runs
birding tours on Daintree river.
The Cassowary is also a wild bird taken up in Atherton table lands
and not for the faint hearted.
Great billed Heron , Nankeen night Heron , Little Kingfisher, Azure kingfisher
Casa and Sun bird.

Beautiful shots. I've never seen many of those birds before. And, of course, congratulations appear to be in order!

All great shots Mark, but really favouring the sunbird though. Great detail.

I have been dabbling a bit in bird photography over the last year and it is certainly challenging. Thanks for sharing

Mark, some great shots there mate well done. I know myself how time consuming bird photography can be to come away with shots of this quality.
