Great details, I agree that it is worthy of Narrowband + RGB composition, this is a lovely object and so far you have done it great!

Sorry, Franck. I normally list the equipment but didn't because this is still a work in progress. FYI, the scope was a Ceravolo 300, the camera was an Apogee U16M and mount was an Astro-Physics AP900. Guiding courtesy of OAG and a Lodestar. I started with a few 20 minute subs but mostly I did 30 minutes.
Cheers,
Rick.

In a word - WOW! I've never seen that level of resolution on this object. It is a real eye-popper Rick.
Are you planning a full NB treatment?

Thanks, Luiz and Peter.
Peter: I have a reasonable amount of Ha. I haven't tried SII yet but I'll give it a go if I get some clear skies. Might take me a while. I have an overseas trip coming up.
Cheers,
Rick.

Up to nearly 60 hours of data but alas I'm unable to image for the next month... Here's a quick & dirty process of the inner shell in Ha (about 15 hours worth). The bright left and right edges are NGC 6164 and NGC 6165 respectively. I'll finish off the image when I get a chance.
