I really like it. All your images look VERY natural and not processed to death (wish I could learn that!!!)

Got to try this one - such a fantastic region

Thank you Lewis, I'm trying really hard not to over process my pics. I'm still learning and just starting to try out Pixinsight. I'm hoping that it will add to my processing with some of its advanced features.

I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of colour that Lambda Centaurus added to the picture. It a lovely region.

All the best Paul.

That's a great shot. Getting the Ha right is tricky. What method are you using in PI?

I've taken a few hours data on this target this week as well which I plan to process at the weekend. Now I have something to compare it to.

Thanks Pete, I'm using this method http://starizona.com/acb/ccd/software/ps_hargb.aspx????

I've yet to try it in Pixinsight but I have watched The video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDAXmi3J_rY

and there is a script here http://pixinsight.com/forum/index.php?topic=3446.0

something to try later.

all the best

Paul

Thank you Mike

I thought of your example when I set these colours up. PixInsight gave me a beautiful set of colour balanced and calibrated colours.... Boring as BatS..T took all the artistry out of it.

all the best
