Moon Panorama - 3 Panel Mosaic

Hi All

Seeing was quite steady on the 13th of March so I decide to have a go at using the C11, my DMK23U274 camera and 2.5x powermate. The magnification in a mosaic makes for viewing a nice swathe of moon in detail.

Three panels have been combined into a mosaic, although seeing was not kind enough to prevent two panels being of slightly lower quality. .

The 50% down scaled image can be found here: Flickr Moon Image

Thanks for looking.
Ted

Very nice Ted – a classical “over the horizon” view from your personal orbiter! Love the perspective, detail and the classical lunar features in the mosaic. The Clavius region is so photogenic.

Cheers

Thanks Dennis, agree the angle and background mountains give it depth.
