The small things though make the difference between something that catches your attention and an image that does not have a catch and you just appreciate it.

What's the story on your "Little blue dot"
Is it or isn't it the Supernova
Cheers

have been coming back to this one quite a bit Greg - spectacular image, but couldn't make up my mind on the colour saturation.

Eventually concluded that it really is an excellent image, with exceptional resolution, but with colour that is a smidgin beyond my comfort zone - which I guess is my problem and not a criticism of the image in any way . Very professional job. Regards Ray

Hi Greg,
Amazing image, maybe the best I've seen of this object. The Ha regions are standing out very nice and the core is full of delicate details hard to catch.
Did I get it wrong or all subs are 5 minutes long ?

I visited your gallery and should say that it is amazing.

Congratulations for the great job,

Fernando

Cheers Fred I'll have to pay more attention to noise levels in the
early processing steps and try to get longer subs
Startools is good for low noise processing isn't it?

Yes 5 mins as that was the best for guiding with the guide scope
I have since tweaked the guiding and do 10mins and will start trying
15 and 20mins

Thanks Ross. Yes I agree this one has turned out the best. A lot of detail around the core. One to add to over the years.

Greg.

The LAB colour boost has worked a treat with this galaxy. The colours are so vibrant without being over saturated. Fantastic work Greg!
