Mars 1st Feb

Hi

A series of Mars images from beginning of this month.

It's been a taxing week work wise preventing me from finalising processing of last Sunday's dataset.

Been imaging this morning in reasonable seeing conditions as the planet has already grown more than half arc second in size since this session.. hope to post results soon.

Elysium Mons cloud is very prominent and there is quite a lot of interesting detail around the south polar region.

Good to see Melbournians posting daily, I'll try to keep up with you guys!

Cheers,
Sebastian

Thanks Trevor, judging from other postings north polar region is becoming the place to watch in the next few weeks.

It's easier to image now with the planet becoming larger and brighter (I had to decrease exposure settings on yesterday morning doubling the effective frame rate).

Cheers
Seb
