I bought this eyepiece in the hope of getting a lower cost alternative to a long focal length Panoptic or similarly priced eyepiece.
When looking through the eyepiece on its own, the field is wide and clear and the field stop is sharp. But in my f6 Dobsonian, the field of view reduces to about 50 degrees with the outer 20 or so degrees going black. Unfortunately, the overseas dealer refuses to acknowledge there is a problem ("impossible" was the word he used), so I have no option other than count my losses and offer this eyepiece for whatever it fetches.
The eyepiece should work in a slow SCT or Mak, but I have not had the chance to try it in anything slower than f6. Dobsonian owners should definitely look elsewhere.
