Lightning Ensemble

Thought to post some Lightning action I came across on Sat Night after chasing storm cells between Toowoomba & Ipswitch way earlier this day.
These were taken near Marburg, view facing North, I reackon the Lightnings were landing all over Wivenhoe Dam, would have made for some excellent reflections !
Focus is a bit soft, periods of moonlight help with the foreground, so tried to make use of it composition wise using the 18-135mm anywhere between 50-100mm !
Hope they are worth the Squizz

No chasing for me Bob, my shot was from the comfort of the back deck!

Awesome series of shots - last Saturday night's storm was a beauty and I'm glad I wasn't under it!!

Cheers,
Mario

Cheers Andrew, making the most of a slow moving storm alway produces a few captures

Thanx Carlos, the show was about 5-8k away & was producing plenty of solid CG's, quite exilerating none the less

Good sparks hey, on second thoughts, I doubt I actually chase them, if they come my way, I jump in the car & tread on the gas, Lol, better at a distance mate, yep,
