Ngc 1955-1968 LMC.

Hi,

A few more LMC nebulae.
Fascinating shape of these two, I think like they look like an old fashion crescent spanner.

Equipment used.
8” F/4 astrograph , baader type 3 coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D.

10 x 8 minute subs x 2, ISO 1600, Darks flats and bias frames applied.
Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop 7.

Cheers,

Justin.

Looking good Justin. There are so many patches within the LMC, its hard to pick just one to sit on and image over several nights. Perhaps its time you considered a camera upgrade to step up your imaging to the next level.

Thanks Jase!

And yes, I've had the money several times this year for a new camera, unfortunately it keeps slipping out my hands into my Kid's!!
