Luna X

Last Sunday's 6.95 day moon. It was my first time seeing the Luna X fully illuminated. Camera hand held, I am very pleased with the detail I captured in this close up shot.

Thanks Ted. I use my pocket size Canon IXUS75 and zoom in. The scope is an 8" Dobsonian with a 20mm plossl multi coated eyepiece.

Thank you Dana. LPOD thought so too, using the picture in this month's calendar. (November 14) They have photo shopped the image.
