NGC1532 - a work in progress. Image added msg #6

Ive managed to dodge a few clouds and get some frames of NGC1532, a galaxy that has intrigued me for a while. 10x15 min L with QSI583wsg.
It obviously needs more time and colour but pleased with this so far.
Comments welcomed.

I particularly like your processing of the more subtle hues of blue. Well done. More, please!!

Stupid me. Ive posted the one with almost invisible arms, faint galaxy core and very faint companion galaxy.......
This is a Sidonio with a bit more background contrast for those with myopic eyesight and poorly adjusted screens. Just get with the program guys and dont be so picky.

I can rely on you Peter for a critical appraisal and a more gentle Zen-like approach.

Looks like a great target, Allan, and a good start. This one has been on my list for a while, but it is a very long list!

Ahhh now I see'em

Nice start on this interesting galaxy Allan

Strangely I haven't felt compelled to image this one, not sure why

Looking good Allan. The luminance is shaping up nicely. Will be great to see the completed mission with colour added.

There is enough faint stuff as well as dust detail to tempt you, Mike. Give it a go.

Thanks Jase, but I need to double or triple the luminance and then get some colour (probably an hour for each filter).
