Comet ISON Nov 4

Sick of ISON yet?

I tried every trick I could think of but DSS just won't track on it. So I gave up and used registax instead.

Dawn is getting earlier and the comet is heading for trees so I won't have it much longer by the looks of it. Anyway... details: SW120mm f5 refractor unfiltered, Pentax K-x, 15x1 minute subs at ISO 800. And the HEQ5 pro goto is back in business. Yay. The EQ2 was not fun!

Thanks Jo. Registax does a better stack and track than me manually in PS.

Hi Kevin,

That's the best dlslr image of Ison so far!

It's a real challenge with the limited window we have.

Cheers,

Justin.
