Canoe Race, Lake Louise - Panorama

Canoe race. Lake Louise. It was the activities that attracted me to this scene. These guys were racing from one side of the lake to the other in an otherwise tranquil setting as others looked quietly on. The tree heights give some impression of the scale of the mountains.

Thanks Chris. Our guide mentioned 60 below at times with wind chill.

Thanks H. It's not cropped. Decided against it. The X-Pro1 did a nice job of it.

We saw minus 21 on the way to the Johnston canyon ice falls.

Great shot

There was 3 foot of snow on top of the ice when we were there!
Would love to go back, fabulous country, and people.

Thanks David. We were en-route Jasper Banff with a tour company and stopped by Lake Louise. We stayed in Banff. It was 28C. Quite a contrast. BC and Alberta are magnificent.
